Cutting rules, punching rules, scoring rules, die cutting rules and die cutting metal plates
Product category: Rotary die-cutting machines
Great power without own drive. The BRC punching unit proves that it´s possible. The C in the name stands for “coil driven punch” and already shows the special feature of this punching unit: The BRC is fully-mechanical and is driven via the coil of a roll forming machine. There it can be easily integrated, because thanks to its compact design, the BRC only needs little space. The uncomplicated punching unit is particularly suitable for the production of thin profiles, where the accuracy is not so important. This makes the BRC the ideal, cost-effective tool for manufacturers of plaster corner brackets, mounting strips, lightweight profiles or similar.
Material: aluminium, plastic webs, continuous steel sheet up to a strength of 350 N/mm ²
Material Thickness: 0.2 mm to 0.6 mm
Material width: max. 80 mm
Hole spacing: max. 12 mm (for several rows of holes with offset stamps also further)
Bridge between holes: at least 4 mm
Hole extension in running direction (ovality): 1% to 3% of diameter, max 10%
Rotary punching units are to be integrated directly into roll forming lines. In contrast to the BRS series, the profiling line takes over the material guide through the rotary punch slot. Immediately after the punching, the deformation can begin in the profiler. The rotary punch unit has its own servo drive, which is synchronized to the profiling line.
BRE Line configuration
Baust manufactures the machine plug-in units with the corresponding removable plates according to the requirements of the profiling system manufacturer. The integration eliminates the space that is otherwise needed in front of the profiling line. The punching units can be integrated in the line or removed again if required. Thus, a higher flexibility of the line is given. The safe handling and high processing speeds as well as the simple and space-saving integration are just some of the advantages of rotary punching.
The machines of the BRS series work as stand-alone machines. The modular design consisting of the infeed control unit , the punching unit and the outfeed unit guarantee precise product channeling and reliable transport of the material. A metering wheel in the profiling system registers the line speed. All units of the rotary punch have their own servo drives. The drives are synchronized electronically.
The rotary punching machines can be delivered with one or two punching units, depending on the product requirements.
The rotary punching machines developed by Baust are characterized by their high performance, long service life and safe handling. Rotary punches are always used if large numbers of units have to be processed. The continuous process and the quick and easy integration into new or existing production lines are just some of the many benefits of this technology.
